Terms of Use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This translation is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Elor: what we offer, what we expect from everyone who uses the platform, and how accounts, plans, and support work.

By creating an account, the parent or guardian confirms that they have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Cancellation and refund rules are set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, which is also part of these Terms.

The short version, for students using Elor

  • Elor is here to help you learn, create, and get answers to your questions. It shows you the way, but you do the work.
  • Use Elor with respect. It won't help anyone hurt, trick, or embarrass other people.
  • Don't send photos of your face, other people, or documents.
  • Some topics need a trusted adult. When that happens, Elor will let you know.
  • Your parents or guardians can see your chat history and get a heads-up if something needs an adult's attention.
  • Elor can make mistakes. If something is important, double-check it with a teacher or another trusted source.
  • In an emergency, find an adult or call your local emergency number (in Brazil: 190 for police or 192 for an ambulance).

1. Who we are

Elor Guardian (Elor) is a product of EAD POCKET LTDA, CNPJ (Brazilian company registration number) 45.386.168/0001-15.

Contact: support@elorguardian.com.

2. What Elor is

Elor is an educational AI platform for kids and teens ages 11 to 17. It helps with studying, research, and creative projects through three modes: Guided Tutoring, Workshop Mode, and Regular Conversation.

Elor works in a web browser on computers, tablets, and phones. Elor Block, which protects web browsing, is an app installed on the device your child uses.

Elor is an educational tool. It does not replace parents, teachers, doctors, psychologists, or other professionals, and it is not an emergency service.

3. Your account

The account is created by a parent or guardian of legal age, who subscribes to the service, registers the child, and manages the account. Each account is for one user and is linked to the email used at sign-up.

The parent or guardian agrees to:

  • provide accurate information and keep it up to date;
  • enter the child's correct age, since it guides Elor's language and explanations;
  • keep the password confidential and notify support if they suspect unauthorized use of the account;
  • follow how the child uses Elor and talk with them about the rules in these Terms.

If other family members, including adults, use the account, the account holder remains responsible. Language, alerts, and history stay linked to the registered profile.

4. Rules of use

Elor may not be used to:

  • commit or plan illegal or violent acts;
  • offend, threaten, intimidate, deceive, or expose other people, including through cyberbullying;
  • send images of other people without permission, intimate images, or personal documents;
  • attempt to bypass safety filters, break into the platform, or interfere with its operation;
  • copy, resell, or exploit Elor for commercial purposes.

When a request is not allowed, Elor declines it, explains why in an age-appropriate way, and, when necessary, sends an alert to the parent or guardian.

5. Safety, filters, and alerts

Conversations and images go through automatic safety filters. When they detect an inappropriate request or a situation that needs attention, Elor blocks the request or redirects the conversation and sends an alert to the parent or guardian's email.

No technology is foolproof. Filters reduce risks but do not eliminate them entirely. That is why Elor combines filters, alerts, and conversation history, and family involvement remains important.

When there are signs that a child or teen is at risk, Elor follows the protection protocol described in the Privacy Policy and may notify the competent authorities, as required by the ECA and the ECA Digital.

6. AI-generated responses

Elor's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or incomplete information. Important information, especially about health, safety, legal rights, or money, should be confirmed with a professional or a reliable source.

Elor helps students learn, but it does not do their assignments for them. Using Elor for schoolwork must follow the rules set by each school and each teacher.

7. Images

On the Explorer and Horizon plans, students can send images for analysis, within each plan's daily limit. Send only what is needed for the question, and avoid photos of faces, other people, or documents.

Elor does not generate images from open-ended requests. Inappropriate images sent to Elor are blocked and handled under the safety protocol.

8. Elor Block

Elor Block blocks content that is inappropriate for minors, online games, shopping sites, and other sites chosen by the parent or guardian. Installation and setup on the child's device are done by the parent or guardian.

Like any blocking tool, Elor Block may not reach every site and app. It does not record searches or visited sites.

9. Plans, payment, and cancellation

Elor is offered in the Base, Explorer, and Horizon plans, with a monthly subscription and automatic renewal. Each plan's features, usage limits, and prices are listed on the pricing page.

All plans have a limit of 50 messages per day. Image limits and history retention periods vary by plan.

Cancellation, the 7-day guarantee, refunds, and plan changes are governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Subscriptions purchased by schools follow the terms of the contract signed with each institution.

10. Intellectual property

The Elor brand, website, platform, content, design, and software belong to Elor and are protected by law. They may not be copied, modified, or used without permission.

The texts, projects, and work that students create with Elor's help belong to them. Elor uses conversations only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and does not use them to train artificial intelligence models.

11. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Elor available at all times, but interruptions may occur for maintenance and updates, or due to provider or internet outages. Whenever possible, we will give advance notice.

Elor may add new features or adjust existing ones. If a change reduces the features of your plan, you will be notified by email before your renewal.

12. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account in cases of payment fraud, use for illegal activities, or attempts to break into or harm the platform. We will notify the parent or guardian by email beforehand, except in serious cases or when the law requires otherwise.

Inappropriate requests made by the student do not lead to account suspension: they are blocked and trigger an alert to the parent or guardian.

The parent or guardian may close the account at any time by canceling the subscription from the dashboard. To request data deletion, see the Privacy Policy.

13. Responsibilities

Elor is responsible for the services it provides, under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights guaranteed to consumers by law.

The parent or guardian is responsible for the use of the account and for the information provided at sign-up.

14. Reporting channel

If you come across any content or situation on Elor that violates the rights of children and teens, email support@elorguardian.com with the subject “Report.” Include your name and describe what happened in as much detail as possible.

We review every report and, when necessary, notify the competent authorities. This channel must be used in good faith.

15. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. The current version is always available on the website, with the date of the last update. Important changes are communicated by email before they take effect.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, in particular the Consumer Protection Code, the Brazilian Internet Civil Rights Framework (Marco Civil da Internet), the LGPD, the ECA, and the ECA Digital (Law No. 15,211/2025). The courts of the consumer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
