About Elor
6 questionsElor is a safe, educational AI for kids and teens ages 11 to 17. It helps with homework, research, and creative projects, with safety filters and email alerts for parents.
Kids and teens ages 11 to 17. A parent or guardian over 18 creates the account, and Elor adapts its language and explanations to the age entered at sign-up.
Safety is built into how Elor was designed. Conversations go through filters that catch inappropriate content, inappropriate requests are blocked, and parents get an email alert when something needs their attention.
No technology is foolproof. That's why Elor combines filters, alerts, and conversation history.
ChatGPT and other general-purpose AIs were built for everyone. Elor was built for kids and teens: it adapts its answers to their age, teaches instead of handing over ready-made answers, blocks inappropriate content, and lets parents know when something needs their attention.
Yes. Elor works at home and at school. Schools can join our partnership program. See the details on our page for schools.
Elor's principles follow Brazil's LGPD (General Data Protection Law), the ECA (Child and Adolescent Statute), the ECA Digital (Law No. 15,211/2025), and the guidance in CNE/CP Opinion No. 15/2026 on artificial intelligence in education.
ISO/IEC 42001, the ISTE Standards, and Digital Promise research serve as frameworks that guide our practices.
How Elor works
7 questionsNo. Before answering, Elor takes into account your child's age, the context of the conversation, and the kind of help they need. That's why it offers three modes: Guided Tutoring, Workshop Mode, and Regular Conversation.
It's the mode that kicks in when your child wants to learn, understand, or solve something. Elor explains concepts, breaks problems into steps, and asks questions that help your child get to the answer. In math, for example, it walks them through the solution step by step instead of just giving the result.
“I'll help you understand it and get there yourself.”
No. Elor figures out from the question which kind of help fits best in the moment.
No. Elor helps a lot, but it doesn't do the work for them. With an essay, for example, it helps your child organize ideas, build arguments, and review the draft, but your child does the writing.
It's the mode for when your child wants to create something or learn a tool to make presentations, documents, spreadsheets, or charts. Elor shows them where to start, guides each step, and leaves the creative choices to your child, so the work is truly theirs.
“I'll teach you to create with technology, not just consume it.”
In Regular Conversation, your child can ask questions, follow their curiosity, and discover new topics. The conversation is more open, but it follows the same age and safety rules as the rest of the platform.
Elor adjusts its vocabulary, the depth of its explanations, and its examples to your child's age and the context of the conversation. Getting the answer right isn't enough: it has to make sense to your child.
Safety and moderation
7 questionsEvery question and answer goes through automatic safety layers that catch content that isn't right for their age, personal data exposure, and risky situations. When needed, Elor declines the request and explains why in a way that fits your child's age.
Elor blocks the request or steers the conversation elsewhere. When the topic needs an adult's attention, it encourages your child to talk to a parent or another trusted adult, and you get an email alert with the message, the date and time, and the category, such as violence, sexual content, or drugs.
No. Safety filters are set by Elor and can't be changed by your child.
No. Elor is warm and friendly, but it's designed not to form bonds that replace real relationships. It doesn't take the place of friends, family, or therapists, and it doesn't play the role of a virtual boyfriend or girlfriend.
If your child says they can't talk to anyone about something hard, Elor can help them start that conversation with a trusted adult.
No. Elor is a learning tool. When a situation goes beyond what it should handle, it guides your child to a trusted adult or a professional.
Because limits are a form of protection too. When technology is made for people who are still growing up, it's not enough to ask what AI can do. You have to ask what it should do, and how far it should go.
It's Elor's protection for your child's web browsing. Elor Block blocks mature content, online games, shopping sites, and anything else you'd rather keep out, so your child explores the web within the limits you set.
Staying in the loop
4 questionsWhen our moderation spots something that needs attention, the parent or guardian on the account gets an email with the message, the category, and the date and time. Alerts are included in every plan, and you won't get emails on days with nothing to report.
No. The alert only flags the moment that needs attention. The full conversation stays in the history, which you can check on your dashboard anytime.
It depends on your plan: 90 days on Base, 180 days on Explorer, and 365 days on Horizon, which also lets you download the history as a PDF.
Yes. On their first visit, Elor lets your child know, in words that fit their age, that parents get alerts and can see the conversation history. The message appears only once, so they feel supported, not watched.
Images and visual creation
4 questionsNo. Elor doesn't generate images from open-ended requests. It's a safety choice: it prevents images from being created or edited to embarrass or expose other people, which helps prevent cyberbullying.
It does, as a learning tool. Elor shows real photos, diagrams, and charts that help explain a topic, and on the Explorer and Horizon plans, it can analyze images your child sends.
Yes, on the Explorer (up to 5 images a day) and Horizon (up to 7 a day) plans. Elor analyzes the image and helps your child understand the problem. The Base plan doesn't include this feature.
Not yet. We'll only offer voice features once they're safe and right for kids and teens, with all the care data protection laws require.
Privacy and data protection
4 questionsOnly what's needed: a nickname (you choose it), plus their age and sex, which Elor uses to adapt the conversation. All other sign-up information belongs to the parent or guardian.
Elor doesn't sell personal data. Data is shared only with providers essential to running the platform, such as hosting and technology services, and with authorities when required by law.
No. Conversations aren't used to train AI models.
